GET YOUR HOUNDSTOOTH FIX WITH THESE 8 ITEMS FOR PLUS SIZE CURVES

Hey curvy girls all over the world,
So it seems that houndstooth has become the print of the season. Houndstooth is a strong bold print and at times can make you dizzy if you stare at it long enough. However the statement making print can look chic and inject energy into your fall wardrobe. This season I was smitten with Ferragamo's take on houndstooth. The print dominated their Fall 2011 collection.

The brand did such an amazing job on simultaneously making the print look sexy and sophisticated. Even celebrities like Kim Kardashian had to get her hands on one of their low cut dresses.

Houndstooth can easily be worn to work or for an evening out. Not a fan of the print on apparel then by all means try out a cute houndstooth satchel or a pair of printed pumps.

Whichever way you decide to wear it, just don't go all Lady Gaga on us by rocking the print head to toe. Although it kind of works for her. No?

Looking for a few ways to wear the trend then take a cue from celebrities:

Do rock a bold lip and keep everything else simple like Kim K.

Rock a houndstooth print shoe with an all black ensemble or playfully with a pair of distressed boyfriend jeans like Rihanna

Have a little fun with the print by wearing a hat a la Anna Dello Russo

Are you into the houndstooth trend?

This is a print I've always loved. It's kind of like the fun version of "old faithful." I love some of the items you featured. I hadn't seen the houndstooth platforms before. LOVE!

This is probably one trend that I will sit out. I remember being a kid and not liking this pattern. I don't think I've grown out of it =(
