Hey curvy girls all over the world,
SC loves seeing models on their off days because that's when you get to see their true personal style. Whenever SC runs into plus size model Fluvia Lacerda she always looks stylish and chic. On Fluvia's off days her hair is perfectly tousled, cheeks are rosy pink, and her eyes whether with or without makeup are bright as day.

Fluvia embraces her curves on and off camera. At events when she's just being Fluvia your favorite girl next door, she wears romantic draped tops with feminine details like ruffles or lace. Her creamy complexion is a match made in heaven for jewel tones and bright bold lips.

When it comes to super casual days, Fluvia keeps things stylish even when she's rocking something as simple as jeggings and a biker jacket or a denim shirt dress.

Recently I stopped by the Forever21 store in Times Square on a late night just to checkout what they had. The last time I went I was disappointed because I couldn't find anything. I always feel like those spur of the moment shopping trips spawn the best pieces. Which was the case with this skirt. I was immediately attracted to the colors in this skirt and when I saw it had that color block effect, I was sold. The skirt is very clingy so I had to wear control top stockings so my cellulite wouldn't show. I liked how bold the black and blue looked together, so, I wanted to continue with the black by wearing my fave pleather waterfall jacket and a black sheer top that I got from Torrid last year. This look infused a cool and sexy feeling within me.

Hey curvy girls all over the world,
I must say that this year's Grammy's brought out some pretty amazing looks from some of our favorite celebrities. When it comes to the Grammy's you either go hard or end up on the worst dressed list.
Last night also spawned a magnificent performance from a svelte Jennifer Hudson.

Let's take a look at some of our favorite current and FORMER curvy celebs.

Jennifer Hudson looks fabulous in a navy blue pleated sequin bodice by Versace

Amber Riley rocks out in a printed knee length Ema Savahl dress complete with a shoulder necklace. I love
that Amber switched up her look and went for something more edgy. I just wish that she wore straight hair because I feel like the curls compete with the dress.

Beyonce glams it up in a black sequin short suit and sequin pumps. A little plain jane, but still very sexy.

Kim Kardashian goes for a glamorous look in a floor length gold sequin gown with a high leg split. Love the dress, but, I thought she could have went for an equally glamorous shoe than the nude peeptoe pumps.

Kelly Osbourne in a purple ruffled one shoulder dress with a satin bow. I wasn't really a fan of her look because it reminded me of something that a modern little bo peep would wear.

Jennifer Lopez in one of her signature sequin mini dresses by Emillio Pucci . I thought Jennifer played it safe this year. I expected to see a little more from her, but, hey she's been to countless Grammy shows, so she's allowed to keep things simple every now and again.

After a week of running to shows then back to work and still making time for friends, I was excited for the weekend to come so I could relax. Yesterday I headed downtown to the Soho House to checkout some costume jewelry from some new designers and then I went to visit Marie Denee (The Curvy Fashionista) to just chat for a few minutes. Make sure you checkout Marie's blog this week for some special exclusive footage at fashion week. I wanted to be comfortable for my travels so I kept things simple with a pair of biker jeans and a turtleneck. I wore my fedora because it was windy and I didn't want my hair flying all over the place. The faux fur vest was an extra layer of warmth under my coat. I've really been into my bright pink lipstick and this time I didn't wear any gloss over it, which I thought was still flattering to my complexion. This is definitely a typical look for me on the weekend.

What I'm Wearing
Fedora-Urban Outfitters
Faux  Fur Vest- Torrid
Turtleneck- Banana Republic
Biker Jeans-Torrid
Boots-Michael Antonio
Necklace-Call It Spring
Earrings-Forever21

Hey curvy girls all over the world,
Yesterday was a pretty busy day for me. I had to literally run back and forth to Lincoln Center from work just so I could check out the Joy Cioci show and the Farah Angsana show at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week. I wanted to keep things comfortable yet chic so I reached for my leopard print dress I got as a gift from Jessica London and my tab collar leather biker jacket from Style&CO. I threw on the red suede pumps to add a pop of color. I received tons of compliments on this look and a few paparazzi shots.

Show reviews coming this weekend.

Hey curvy girls all over the world,
SC ran into stylist/jewelry designer Crystal Streets. Who might I say was very nice and sweet. You may remember Crystal from the popular reality show House of Glam. Crystal has decided to start a new jewelry line called LyraLoveStar that features delicate pieces with interesting cosmic details. While at the Heart Truth Red Dress Collection show at the 2011 Mercedes Benz Fashion Week SC chatted it up with Crystal about LyraLoveStar.

Take a look at our exclusive video

Hey curvy girls all over the world,
The precursor to fashion week is the Heart Truth Red Dress Collection where popular celebrities all don a red dress from today's hottest designers. SC had a seat at the show and I must say it was so much fun. There were many surprises, like seeing Laila Ali come out with her pregnant belly, Suzanne Somers twirl down the catwalk, and Ms. Patti La Belle that made the crowd go wild. The red dresses were gorgeous from designers like, Donna Karan, A pea in the pod, Zac Posen, and Nicole Miller.

We were also serenaded by a beautiful Natasha Bedingfield.

SC got a chance to take a flick with Ann Curry

And Dita Von Teese  who were both very nice.

Fellow curvy girl Christina Hendricks was spotted at the AMC Mad Men Gala in a turqouise dress and a pair of tan neutral pumps. The color looks amazing against her skin and hair color. SC wants to know if she's working this look or is it back to the drawing board?

Today must be piggy back day for SC. Photos of Target's Pure Energy 2011 Spring lookbook for plus sizes have surfaced. Thanks to Budget Babe. The lookbook was made up of only 4 spring looks. Trying to decide if it's even worth being called a lookbook. Pure Energy is showcasing lots of florals and the looks are safe and simplistic. However, I do think the the pieces are cute, but, I wish they could have done a few more looks so we could get an honest feel of the spring collection.

What are your thoughts on the 4 looks?

Hey curvy girls all over the world,
This week is going to be super busy because I will be at Mercedes Benz fashion week. I'll be taking in the celebrity sights and amazing Fall clothes from some of your favorite designers. This will be my second time attending fashion week and I'm way more prepared than I was last year this time. I got all my handy dandy tools which include my Nikon S570, Blackberry, and my RCA tape recorder. I'm all charged up and even have backup chargers and memory cards.

Tonight, I will be picking out my wardrobe for the next couple of days and of course, I have my flats with me in my bag ready to put on at the pinch of a toe. I do not play when my feet hurt so I have no problem changing into my flats in the ladies room or by the sidewalk behind someones car (yes, I'm shameless like that).

Coverage
I will be bringing you coverage from all the shows I'll be attending. I also have my video camera with me to bring you exclusive videos and interviews. I'm also hoping to spot some super fly curvy girls under the tents to give you that raw NY curvy girl street style.

Kicking off fashion week this year is the Heart Truth Red Dress fashion show which I will be at tonight. This is one of my favorite shows because celebrities come together to spread the word about heart disease. The Heart Truth show is a major fashion show because celebrities walk the catwalk in red dresses designed by new and seasoned designers.

Below is a list of the celebrities that will be walking the catwalk in this years show and the designers that they will be wearing.

Celebrities
Alison Sweeney, Ann Curry, Archie Panjabi, Audrina Patridge, Camila Alves, Cat Deeley, Dania Ramirez, Denise Richards, Dita Von Teese, Eva Amurri, Eve, Garcelle Beauvais, Gayle King, Giuliana Rancic, Julianne Hough, Katrina Bowden, Laila Ali, Linda Gray, Natasha Bedingfield, Patti LaBelle, Suzanne Somers, and Taraji P. Henson.
Designers
Alberta Ferretti, Badgley Mischka, Catherine Malandrino, Carmen Marc Valvo, Chris Benz, Swarovski, David Meister, Donna Karan, Ina Soltani, J. Mendel, Kaufman Franco, Matthew Williamson, Monique Lhuillier, Naeem Khan, Notte by Marchesa, Nicole Miller, Oscar de la Renta, Pamella Roland, A Pea in the Pod, Tadashi Shoji, Zac Posen, and Zang Toi.

Grey's Anatomy star Sara Ramirez glams out in sexy lingerie and a cardigan on the cover of Latina magazines March issue set to hit stands on Feb. 15th. Her cover shot exudes confidence and sexiness. Just what curvy girls need to see to embrace those curves.

I've been a major fan of Sara as Calle on Grey's Anatomy. I remember when she first came on the show, I was so happy that they made her proud of her body.
Latina gives Sara an in-depth interview about Grey's, body issues, and on being different. For more, checkout Latina's website.

Thanks to Curves and Chaos for posting this.
