NEW CURY GIRL SITE TO SHOP: RUE 114

Hey curvy girls all over the world,
One of the reasons I love social media is for its immediate access to pretty much anything. This morning while putting in my social media time on Facebook I came across gorgeous model Allison McGevna rocking an African print pencil skirt. I had to find out where she got it from and low and behold, I found that it is part of a debut collection for a brand called Rue 114.

I immediately checked their site and found more fashion forward curve friendly pieces. So, who is Rue 114? Creative Director and founder Serwah Asante says that, Rue 114 is inspired by and created for women who believe that every shape and size should be celebrated as beautiful." Don't you just love that?

Serwah's African inspired line comes in sizes Small-2X and 2-24. The collection boasts signature African printed dresses and skirts and curve skimming silhouettes all with a touch of class and sass. The styles are promising and leaves us intrigued to see how this label blossoms.

Checkout the capsule collection debut for yourself by visiting Rue 114  Also, they are currently offering 10% off with code Ruelove.

What do you think about Rue 114's debut collection?

i really like the dresses, definitely somethings i would wear but am i the only one that notices how high the items are. if i want the skirt and blouse i have to shell out close to 300 bucks, actually over 300 bucks with the shipping as well. Great items, but the should be realistic about the prices.

The collection is HIOT indeed, but those prices lend themselves to special occasion purchases only for my pocketbook. Maybe a cute birthday outfit...

Definitely fit for special occasions... I love how they have the same look styled on the plus model and the straight size model too. That dress with the strip down the back is to die for. Maybe if I wasn't on a family-household budget, lol for now I have to stick with the $50 and under range. But they sure were fun to look at!
