We are kicking off this Monday morning with a look back at some of our favorite curvy and plus size celebrities who were on the scene this past weekend. With the NAACP awards and birthday parties celebrities hit the red carpet in some of their finest.
Let's take a look at who rocked the carpet:
As usual, Amber Riley stuns in a deep blue sequin one shoulder dress to the NAACP awards
Grammy nominee Ledisi went for a a purple one shoulder ruched floor length gown
And during fashion week, ANTM alum and Toccara Jones rocked a sleeveless printed red and black dress topped with a fur stole and leather gloves.
Gabourey Sidibe also hit Las Vegas to show support for Amber's birthday party. She also went for an all black dress with silver accessories.

Can I ask a fashion question? Asos had a dress similar to the one that Jill Scott is wearing, but in navy blue lace. It's also shorter (maybe just below knee length but I'm only 5'6).
I'd like to know that when/if wearing the dress in cooler temps, what color hose/tights do you pair with navy, b/c it just seems as if finding the SAME color navy is impossible, and I'm not sure I like the mental picture of that anyway...
Jill rocked the overall look all the way out & tho I like Toccara's look , that dress is the highlight but the Rest of it is a bit too glam for very my taste. However, perhaps I' m just biased for my boo Jill. Lol
