CELEBRITY STYLE ROUNDUP

Hey curvy girls all over the world,
It's Tuesday and I'm already wondering why Friday is taking so long. Over the past  week, Some of our favorite plus size and curvy celebrities have been spotted working the red carpet. Let's take a peek at which celebs rocked their style and which ones needed to go back to the drawing board.

First up, is every one's favorite plus size curvy girl Amber Riley. Amber recently hit up the 2012 Tribeca Film Festival for the premiere of "Struck By Lightening" in an all black everything outfit. In true Riley fashion, Amber sported an edgy rocker chic look with a lace dress, cropped leather biker jacket, and a pair of suede platform Mary Jane's. Amber definitely rocked it.

Next up is Miss Yvette Nicole Brown
The natural haired beauty went for a paint splash salmon and black colored dress, with wide strapped criss cross sandals. The fit of the dress makes her curves look sleek and defined. I think she rocked it. What about you?
Curvy singing sister duo Mary Mary looked colorful and bright at the GMA Dove awards. Erica (left)  sported an off the  shoulder floor length orange draped dress and a glowing pregnant Tina went for an aqua blue tie waist shirt dress. Normally Mary Mary is a hit or miss, but this time, both ladies looked great and therefore were a hit for me. What about you?

Everyone's favorite friend in their head Wendy Williams was spotted at the Food Bank For New York City 2012 Can-Do Awards Dinner in a gray ruched dress with matching t-strap sandals. I wonder if they're from her Adorn shoe line? The statuesque talk show host looked simple and pretty.

These days it looks like Gabourey Sidibe has been stepping up her style game. Recently the "Big C" star hung out in West Hollywood rocking a bright blue surplice wrap dress. The color looks great on her complexion and the cut of the dress flatters her shape. I'll pass on the flip flops but when your feet hurt from a night of partying flip flops are your best friend. The other option is to just get a pair of nice flats. Nevertheless, the dress choice was a hit for Gabourey.

Ok ladies, which celebs do you think worked it and which ones should head back to the drawing board?

I love all of the looks except Gabby's.....flip flops are just inexcusable to me.....some nice flats would have made her outfit one of the best I've seen her in.

Everyone looks good but Erica's dress doesn't hug or glide off of her hips correctly. And there is nothing else to be said about Gabby's flip-flops. I just hope that she was going to get a pedi or that her shoes were in the car.

I know that Marie Denee over at The Curvy Fashionista has compiled a list of plus-sized maternity shops but could you do a post on some of the actual, on-trend looks? For a friend of mine...;) Tina looks comfortable and fashionable. That's a good place to start.
