Hey curvy girls all over the world,
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I know I did. My weekend consisted of a little work and play. Over the weekend I spent some time updating the blog with a few helpful features to make shopping for your plus size curves easier.About a month ago, I had you complete a survey of the things you liked on this blog and what you wanted to see more of. So, I listened and I have changed a few things on the Stylish Curves blog.
I know I went back and forth with this but I decided to change the blog's tag line from "Bridging the gap between straight and plus sizes" to the "Fashion Blog About Plus Size Shopping"
I feel this tag line best suits what I do and am trying to do with the Stylish Curves blog. The goal is to make finding stylish clothes for plus size women easier and to show you how to rock them. Essentially, I want you to now think of Stylish Curves as the plus size Lucky magazine, just as a blog.
I utilized this weekend to create a directory of plus size designers and retailers. I also included boutiques and websites that carry shoes from size 11-14. The directory is still a work in progress and will be updated as more designers and retailers emerge. I've categorized the links from designers, to online retailers, bridge lines, and I even included some straight sized stores that carry size 16's and 18's.
In addition to a shopping directory, I've also created a directory of deals from some of your favorite retailers. We all know how annoying it can be to have to search for coupons or realize when we deleted a coupon that was emailed to us. Again, this directory is also still a work in progress and will be updated on a daily basis.
These directory's are located in the right side bar.
If you're a retailer, boutique owner, or designer and would like to be added to any one of the directories please email me at email@example.com
I've also added some new tabs to help you find what you're looking for a little faster. Checkout the new "How To" tab which links you to all those Ask SC questions and outfit idea posts. Need something to wear for an event? Just click on the how to tab. This week I will be adding Fashion Week and Designer Interviews. So keep a lookout for all the new changes.
Over the next couple of months more changes will be happening and I will update you as soon as they do. Thanks so much for all of your support.
As usual, I love to hear your feedback positive and constructive so let me know how you like the changes.
