I have a confession to make. I am a huge fan of Michael Kors plus size line but I hate that he really doesn't show the plus size community love. Does that make me a hypocrite for buying his clothes? I don't know. Plus size bridge lines have gotten so much better. The styles and cuts are better than they've ever been before. I've always been a fan of Michael Kors.
I have bags, watches, and dresses to prove it. I often struggle inside with buying from designers like Michael Kors because besides making clothes for plus, the brand could careless about plus size women. There are never any plus size
lookbook or even so much as a low budget campaign with plus size models. What's up with that?
Two weeks ago I was shopping Bloomingdales plus size section on 59th street and I came across this chic (I promise to stop using this word) detailed cobalt blue dress sitting all by its lonesome on a sale rack. I scooped it up before anyone else could see me and when I tried it on it fit like a glove. I liked this dress for two reasons. One it's perfect for work and I can wear it after work for dinner and drinks. You know I love clothes that work double duty. The second reason I liked this dress was because of the color and the twist detail on the side. You can never go wrong with a simple dress that has interesting details.
