STYLE JOURNEY: AT THE OFFICE

Hey curvy girls all over the world,

As much as I am a dress lover, I adore a simple skirt and blouse combo. It's classic and very ladylike.
When I woke up this morning, I knew that's what I wanted to wear to work.  I went to my closet, ran my fingers through the myriad of blouses hanging in it and I pulled out this white blouse with black piping from Simply Be. I've had it for about two months but never wore it. I had plans on wearing it with a pair of red trousers but never got around to putting that outfit together. So, I spoke to the blouse and said you're coming to work with me today. 

Black and white is such a classy and classic combination and a no brainer color palette for the office. I'll admit, looking at myself in the mirror made me think that I looked like a waiter at restaurant. To help combat that, I added a pop of color with my yellow suede platforms, I added a neon stretch bracelet from Loft, and a peter pan silver collar necklace (Love!) that I got from Forever21. If  I was going to resemble a waiter, I wanted to look like a chic one. 

Because, it was a little chilly this AM, I threw on my red blazer. Yeah, I know, I had a little mustard and ketchup thing going on, but I was cool with it. Now, my only goal today is to not spill anything on this blouse. Wish me luck!
