STYLE JOURNEY: THE DENIM VEST

Hey curvy girls all over the world,

Oh man the this heat is having no mercy on us. I have been drinking like a fish out of water. It's so hot I don't even have an appetite. I've seriously been eating cereal for dinner for the past couple of days. As far as getting dressed goes, it's been all about separates for me lately.

As a dress lover, I feel like my skirts are not receiving enough love. This weekend I rocked one of my fave summer skirts, which is this orange body con bandage skirt. I swear this sucker sucks everything in. Whenever I put it on, I;m like where did my stomach go.

I chose to add a little BK (Brooklyn) flavor to it by teaming the skirt up with a denim vest. If you don't know, BK girls love denim especially a cute little denim jacket or vest. Denim vests are the perfect piece to use when you want to take something dressy to casual. The bandage skirt is super sexy especially if you have a large derriere like mine, but with the denim vest it makes the skirt casual. I have so many plans for this denim vest. I'll be rocking it with trousers and over dresses.
