2012 PLUS SIZE FALL FASHION TREND SHOPPING GUIDE

Hey curvy girls all over the world,
We are in mid September already and we haven't given you a proper fall fashion welcome. So, today, we finally bring you our guide to fall 2012 plus size fashion trends that you should be hopping on now. We think this season might just be your best wardrobe yet. We have your wardrobe covered from popular trends like leather to the return of peplum.

Our fall plus size fashion trend guide is filled with the hottest pieces in plus sizes 14-26. Now, let's talk fall 2012 trends.

Trend: Peplum

As I stated before peplum has returned for another season and for fall 2012 it has gotten sexier. With mesh paneled dresses to daring printed skirts there is no reason you shouldn't own a peplum piece in your wardrobe.

Fit Tips & How To Wear It
Fit Tip- Make sure that the peplum portion of your top or dress is not too high. the peplum should be flaring away from your midsection creating a flattering look. When peplum hits you high above your mid section it creates a puffy look.

Wear Tip- Peplum Tops look best when worn with a curve skimming bottom. Skinny/straight leg jeans or a pencil skirt will give you a tailored well put together look.

Trend: Leather

Leather is probably the hottest trend for fall 2012. I mean, people were rocking it from spring through summer. We can thank Kanye and Kim K for showing us how to do it. I even sported my little leather shorts in early spring. Luckily, plus size brands and designers have caught on and are actually making some pretty stylish leather pieces.

Fit Tips & How To Wear It
Fit Tip: As curvy plus size women leather should fit smoothly across the largest parts of your body. If your leather piece has stretch in it then you may want to go a size down. If it doesn't then you may want to size up for that perfect fit.

Wear Tip: Leather is one of the most coolest pieces to add to your wardrobe. We suggest mixing soft fabric with tough leather, like a sheer over sized chiffon blouse paired with a pair of leather pants or a knit sweater over a pleated leather skirt.

Trend: Metallic
80's fashion is still reigning supreme but this time we are revisiting a little more rock & roll, after hours vibe with the surge of metallic. The metallic trend will be fun to pull of for a night of fun and bar hopping with your girls. Add a little edge to a femme look with a metallic top or skirt.

Fit Tips & How To Wear It
Fit Tip:  The metallic trend is one you want to fit right. Due to the shiny fabric it can expose all your nooks and cranny's. Search for pieces that have a lining to endure a smooth look.

Wear Tip: Don't wear this trend head to toe, instead try a pair of metallic jeans with a solid color top  like a turtleneck or over sized blouse in a matte color and fabric.

Trend: Faux Fur
We think it's about time that plus size women get over the fear of looking bigger in fur. Instead of thinking about size think about how luxurious and chic fur can make your outfit look. Go for an old Hollywood glam look like Jill Scott and rock a fur stole or coat over a red carpet worthy dress.

Fit Tips & How To Wear It
Fit Tip:  Look for a fur vest or coat that you can zip and button comfortably. Yo want to make sure that you can move around it without feeling restricted.

Wear Tip: Rock a fur vest with jeans or over a knit dress for an on trend cool look.

Trend: Prints

Whether you like them bold or busy, prints were everywhere on the fall 2012 runways. Prada and Louis Vuitton dabbled in prints with their 2012 collections. This year prints are not for the meek and shy they are to be used for those who want to stand out in a crowd. If you feel like your wardrobe consists of all solid colors then, this is the trend you definitely want to try to spice up your basic wardrobe.

Fit Tips & How To Wear It
Fit Tip:  The rule of thumb with prints is large prints for a larger frame and small prints for a smaller frame.

Wear Tip: Try a printed dress with dark tights and matching dark colored shoes for a chic sophisticated look. TO tone down a printed skirt or top match the printed piece up with a solid colored piece. If you want to do print on print make sure the prints  are in the same color family and the sizes of the prints are in proportion to one another.

Nice tips, very feminine, I like all the colors, just don't like the faux fur trend unless its genuinely faux because some claim to be even though they're not, they're actually made in China from dogs and cats, how sad.

These Gildan 12500 have a nice, quality feel to them. They are durable and make excellent undershirts. They're not too tight and I feel more comfortable in them as compared to flimsy shirts.
