A few weeks ago, we received an email from SC reader April. She asked us for her some help with birthday outfit ideas. Her email read:
"Hi Alissa, I love your blog and how you show different looks. I will be turning 30 at the end of October and I wanted to know if you could, please, please, pretty please help me out with some ideas on what to wear. I want to look, sexy, edgy, and classy, if that makes sense. Please help!"
Thanks so much April for emailing me and so sorry for the late response. You're turning the big 30. When I think about hitting a b'day milestone, I think of getting my grown and sexy on. Since you want a look that is sexy, edgy and classy, I came up with 3 looks that definitely offer what you're looking for.

For the second look, I went with a trendy dress, again with edgy details, and chose to add color and fun with accessories. This net sleeve dress is also from Navabi and has an understated sexiness to it. The flattering v-neck line allows you to play around with different necklaces. Other options would be to go for sheer sleeve or lace sleeves.

For our final look, we went with an on trend long sleeve purple body con dress with studded details. It's simple but the details pack a little punch. You can wear a number of colored accessories but I chose to stay with silver for a sharp bold look.
