Hey curvy girls all over the world,
Hurricane Sandy came through and crushed the buildings in NYC. As a native New Yorker, never ever have I experienced a natural disaster like Sandy. The weird thing about hurricanes is that they can tear up one part of a state and leave other parts untouched.
I live in Bay ridge Brooklyn and felt the storm but after the storm my neighborhood looked as normal as could be until I saw the news. I saw Sandy's wrath while trying to get to work.
Hearing horror stories of no food, clean water, and shelter from my neighbors over in Staten Island was beyond my imagination.
Getting to work this week was a pain in the butt. There was no gas and no train service from Brooklyn to Manhattan. In order to get into the city you had to wait on 2 hour lines just to get on the bus. There is still 2-4 hour waits to get gas. However, like the gospel song says, "I won't complain!" Things could be worse.
I am hoping that things can be 85% back to normal and I'm hoping that FEMA can continue to reach more and more families. And to those who lost their loved ones, may God grant you peace in understanding. We can get through this New York and New Jersey.
