Hey curvy girls all over the world,
Lately I've been receiving tons of emails asking for help on what to wear to certain events. So this week I decided to answer one of the emails I received.
SC reader Angel writes: Hey Stylish Curves, I love your blog. Next week I am going on an evening boat ride and I have no clue what to wear. I was thinking about a jumpsuit or a dress but can't decide. All I know is that I want to look hot.
Hi Angel and thank you so much for reading the blog. I am happy to lend my styling ideas to help you look your best. I came up with 4 looks for you to get inspired by. Since it is an evening boat ride I believe you can dress things up and be a little sassy all while looking classy.
These are the looks I came up with:
You said you wanted to wear a jumpsuit and I think that's a really good idea. I found this super cute jersey fabric jumpsuit at Target and I think it will be perfect for this boat ride. The jumpsuit comes in black, gray, and cobalt blue but I liked the red because it will definitely make you stand out. I went for a snakeskin clutch and gold chandelier earrings to glam it up a little. A pair of black suede strappy sandals balances out the bold ensemble. Jumpsuit goes up to a size 2X.

Next, I chose a fun and flirty dress also from Target. Peach and coral are perfect for a summer evening boat ride. The dress flairs out with pleats so you will look muy caliente when you dance. I chose gold accessories to compliment the peach color.
Since it is summer, I thought a bright green dress in one of the season's hottest trends, the hi low cut would make for a great boat ride dress. The gold waistband is what makes this dress pop and the strapless style can host a fab necklace or you can go bare with shoulder sweeping earrings like the ones I chose.
To keep things chic yet sexy, I felt a lace fitted dress with a pair of neon peeptoe pumps would have you looking sleek and put together. Plus the elbow length sleeves will definitely keep you warm in case it gets breezy that night. The dress is from Evans and goes up to a size 24. Get it here

Hope these looks help. What do you guys think?
