Hey curvy girls all over the world,
This week has flown by and my work load has been of tremendous proportions. Nevertheless, the weather has been pretty nice here in NYC. A much needed break from the bitter cold weather we received last week. I've been doing a lot of thinking about my future and all the goals I would love to achieve in 2013. One of things I am learning is to have patience and to enjoy the journey to achieving my goals. So often I get frustrated because things aren't happening fast enough. I am realizing that things are going according to plan and I just need to continue staying focused.
I encourage you all to stay focused on achieving your goals and don't rush the journey to them.
Now, on to this ensemble I am wearing. I had been yearning for this heart print pussy bow blouse and teal skater skirt from ASOS Curve. When I went to buy the blouse, it was sold out but I was able to get the skirt. Luckily, Gwynnie Bee had the blouse on their website and I snatched it up with the quickness.
While hanging up my clothes one night, the heart print blouse and teal skater skirt were laying on top of each other and immediately, I thought, instant outfit. Teal and yellow go together and I wore my black cap toe pumps to pull everything together. The only thing I dislike about skater skirts are how short they can be. I have yet to find one that actually hits at the knee. Luckily, tights help out.
What do you guys think about this look?
Also, if you haven't tried Gwynnie Bee yet, you should, especially if you are on a budget, fixed income, or you're one of those shoppers who are serial returners because you have a hard time committing to a purchase this is a great way to see what you really like and test drive it with no fees or penalties.
